“I was born in a family business context and from an early age I was able to see and learn about the techniques and characteristics of craftsmanship. Being in direct contact with my dad but even earlier with my grandfather, I was able to appreciate the manual skills and the “trade” of woodworking. The family carpentry evolved in the 90s until the birth of a showroom with an adjoining exhibition. I started working, in parallel with my studies (Faculty of Architecture of Turin) in this exhibition space, also gaining experience in the sales sector. Over time, the need to create a design team to meet customer needs has become stronger. The product requested by the commission was increasingly personalized and the need to have a design studio led to the birth of “Varetto design” in 2005. Sustainability, efficiency and attention to detail combined with a simple but sophisticated design guide our vision through the application of modern technologies and artisan traditions. From the beginning to the end of the creative process, the philosophy of my studio is to create pieces with a unique design by integrating the Client’s emotions. This process consists of a constant dialogue with partners and customers. Together with the exploration of the dialogue between architecture and environment, void and solid, translucency and transparency”.
